The Congress of Christian Education

The New Jersey Baptist Congress of Christian Education, an auxiliary of the New Jersey General Baptist Convention, USA, Inc., is dedicated to the service or educating men, women and children, who are distinguished by their commitment to Jesus Christ, through the ministries of teaching, preaching, missions and evangelism, for the purpose of the work of Kingdom building. We strive to provide these services through the effective use of qualified preachers, teachers, instructors, laypersons, and our Convention personnel. To this end we seek to:

• Promote the teaching of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, as set forth in His Holy Word, the Bible;
• Advance the knowledge of our membership in the understanding of the Holy Bible as our resource the life and lifestyle;
• Provide teaching at every constituent level;
• Provide materials that reflect the wide range of knowledge and the scope of inquiry for both the preacher and the layperson;
• Provide district, as well as local access to our membership services;
• To meet annually for a state gathering of our membership for two days of education, worship and evangelism;
• Do all to the glory of God.
